Across from You Too was painted by Jane after she visited a dear friend who lives abroad. Sitting across from her over a shared meal became the inspiration for this painting, capturing one of those ordinary moments that become precious when time together is rare.

When you are separated by distance from someone you love, this postcard is a thoughtful way to remind them they're missed, and that the best conversations are still waiting across the table.

Originally created in acrylic paint and coloured pencil on wood (50.8 × 40.6 cm), Across from You Too became part of the Irish State Art Collection in 2024.
